Dan and Jana Coleman have owned and operated Arete Gymnastics since 1993, have coached and had championship gymnasts of all levels from level 1 through the Elite levels with many athletes receiving college scholarships. They are the only Utah coaches to coach gymnasts to the International Elite level and to coach gymnasts on the USA National Team and the Puerto Rico National Team. Dan and Jana trained with the USA National Team training staff for many years. Jana has Choreographed championship routines for all levels including Elite championship routines on the floor exercise and balance beam. Dan has coached, trained, conditioned and rehabbed athletes of all levels, serving as head trainer and pool therapist for a major fitness chain. Dan studied exercise physiology at Brigham Young University, was a certified HFI with the American College of Sports Medicine and a Member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and personally trained amateur, college, professional and Olympic athletes. Dan has also had published articles on fitness, been a sports announcer, voice over for commercials, motivational speaker, and stunt double for The Fighting Preacher motion picture. Jana has been in commercials and motion pictures and was the stunt coordinator for The Fighting Preacher movie. Dan and Jana were Olympic Torch Bearers for the 2002 Winter Olympics.
